Decoration Garment

  • Decorating your garments

We often get a lot of questions about how to decorate, what’s best and here we have a few answers. It can depend on a budget, and what garments are being worn as well as logos and design for your project. We are always happy to discuss and share our recommendations just drop us a message.

For either Print or Embroidery options, your logo will need to be in the correct format for the decoration being used. If you don’t already have these in the right format, we can get them digitalise for you as a set cost of £15 per logo, or per decoration method. If you unsure just send us your best high vector graphic, or for embroidery you are unlikely to have the stitch file but send us your logo and we can advise further.

We have 3 main methods of garment decoration, and we often use a mixture of them on your garments and accessories depending on what you need.

    Embroidery

    Ideal for:

    • A premium look to your garments
    • Small lettering
    • Anything with a pile like fleece and towels
    • High cotton density items like polo shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts

    Not ideal for:

    • Very complex designs in a small area
    • Logos with tonal colour changes
    • Designs over large areas- especially on light weight clothing

Embroidery is one of our most popular methods of decoration, especially for use on hoodies and sweatshirts, and in the workwear industry where clothing will get a lot of washing.

For most of our customers they opt for logos on the left breast, (that as your wearing it) and a print on the back like a name, or simple logo version.

    DTF (Direct to Film) Print

    Ideal for:

    • Large designs- full backs, full fronts
    • Designs with lots of colour in them
    • very complex designs
    • for large amounts of items for events. Camps etc

    Not ideal for:

    • Anything with a pile like fleeces, towels, dressing gowns,

Our DTF Prints are very diverse and gives great results.  And is great on lightweight clothing like t shirts and polos for example.

Another bonus of print is that it allows us to access an area that may not be possible on an embroidery machine, like a small area of bag, or the neck of a t shirt,
